Kolkata, June 30, 2025 – Bosco Chriz 2025 just wrapped up its 15th awesome edition on June 28 at Don Bosco School, Park Circus, and it was a total blast! Over 450 students from 13 schools brought the heat, starting with a high-energy mass led by Fathers Kumudo Digal, M. J. Jose, Anthony Kodiyan, and Shaji that set the stage on fire. The day was packed with epic on-stage action like Chriz Stringz, Chriz Skitz, and Chriz Grooves, plus off-stage thrills with Chriz Contentionz, Chriz Quiz, Chriz Cardz, Chriz Rhymez, and Chriz Treasurez. St. Teresa’s Secondary School, Loreto House, Middleton Row, Don Bosco School, Liluah, Don Bosco School, Park Circus, and Auxilium Convent School, Bandel, rocked the top five spots—huge congrats to them! The Messengers Band, led by Sir Peter Gomes, dropped some soulful Gospel tunes that had everyone cheering, leading to an epic prize giveaway.
Guided by the cool theme “Rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction, be persistent in prayer” from Romans 12:12, the event was all about good vibes, teamwork, and fun, thanks to the hard work of YCS Animator Mr. Paul Jacob, co-animators Mr. Roy Joseph, Mrs. Malobee Paul, Ms. Charlene Phillips, and the Don Bosco crew. Students and animators teamed up for group challenges and creative showdowns, making every moment unforgettable. The day wrapped up with a tasty Salesian lunch that kept everyone fueled and smiling—shoutout to the organizers for keeping our stomachs and hearts happy!
This Chriz was a hit because of the amazing energy from all 450+ students and animators, with the Don Bosco team, including Reverend Fathers and staff, pulling it all together. It’s a celebration of Christian spirit that left everyone pumped for next year’s edition—mark your calendars, it’s gonna be even bigger!
