13 October, Kolkata: The second edition of the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival (DBGYFF) was held in the Salesian Province of Kolkata at 12 different locations across West Bengal and two countries Nepal and Bangladesh on 13th and 14th October. 

Anmol Gurung, acclaimed Film Director inaugurated the film Festival at Salesian College Siliguri Campus while Fr. Sunil Kerketta, Vice-Provincial declared the film festival open at Nitika Don Bosco, Kolkata. Simultaneously, Multiple locations showcased a selection of films for the film lovers. 

Three films RED from Salesian College, Siliguri, THE CONNECTION from Don Bosco Park Circus and LOVE from Bangladesh were submitted for the competition. THE CONNECTION from Don Bosco Park Circus won in Regional Award Category.
