Sonada, 15 September: In a vibrant display of youth energy and talent, Salesian College Sonada recently hosted the Bosco Utsav, a gathering of 331 young participants from 22 youth centers across the Sonada, Dilaram, and Barima Zone. The event, organized by the youth department of the college, aimed to bring together young minds and foster a sense of community and camaraderie.
The Bosco Utsav featured a diverse range of 20 events, including cultural dance performances, quiz competitions, handmade exhibitions crafted from waste items, table tennis tournaments, essay competitions, singing events, and more. The top two winners of each event were awarded trophies and certificates, recognizing their outstanding talents and achievements.
Khariya Busty from Dilaram Zone emerged as the overall winner of Bosco Utsav 24, lifting the rolling trophy. The team demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication, earning them the top spot among the 22 participating youth centers.
Under the guidance of Fr. Clement, Director of the Youth Department, a team of 62 brothers from the college worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the event. The Bosco Utsav 24 was a huge success, leaving a lasting impact on the young participants and setting the stage for future events that promote joy, friendship, and a sense of belonging among the youth.
