Don Bosco Kathmandu stands as the millennium gift from the Don Bosco Society to Nepal. The Society's vision was to provide the youth of Nepal, especially those in Kathmandu, with an opportunity to equip themselves with technical skills and contribute to the country's need for skilled manpower. To achieve this goal, the Society has been working on establishing two Institutes in the valley - one at Lubhu and another at Thecho.
In Lubhu, a vocational training center and a high school is set up. The Institute aims to serve the disadvantaged youth of the region, particularly school dropouts and those facing economic challenges.
Nepal Don Bosco School, founded in 2002, operates as an English Medium Private School offering +2 Humanities, Management, and Science courses for both boys and girls. It is managed by the SALESIAN Fathers of Nepal Don Bosco Society.
